Tavistock Announces Sales Launch for the First Pier Sixty-Six Residential Offering

Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm and owner of Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale, announces the hiring of Amy Ballon as director of sales to bring The Residences at Pier Sixty-Six to market in October 2022.

The initial sales offerings of The Residences at Pier Sixty-Six will feature two 11-story condominium buildings each with 31 luxury units ranging from 2,600 to 2,700 square feet and two four-story villa buildings with a combined 31 luxury units ranging from 1,600 to 3,800 square feet. Designed by Garcia Stromberg, the waterfront residences will anchor a new Marina Promenade that includes restaurants, shops, and offices.

As director of sales, Ballon will lead the sales team for Pier Sixty-Six’s residential offerings. She has over 25 years of luxury pre-construction development experience, working with leading firms and developers such as The Related Group, The Agency, and One Sotheby’s International and notable projects such as Las Olas Riverhouse, Canyon Ranch Living Miami Beach, and The Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live. Ballon also founded the Hemisphere Sales Group, which led sales for Sabbia Beach.

Tavistock acquired the Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina in December 2016 and the adjacent former Sails Marina site in July 2017. Construction on The Residences at Pier Sixty-Six began in late 2021 and is projected to be completed in early 2024, coinciding with the debut of the reimagined Pier Sixty-Six resort in 2024. The Marina remains open throughout construction and continues to be a host site for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and home of the Superyacht Village.
