Based in New York, Jeffrey Beers International is a full-service design studio that specializes in architecture, design, and planning for resorts, restaurants, and residential with a focus on pairing emotion with modernism using precise architecture and design. However, the firm’s most recent and exciting project is without a doubt the redesign of Fort Lauderdale staple Pier 66.
“Pier Sixty-Six is the social harbor of Fort Lauderdale so, upon entering, guests will engage in a world of intracoastal luxury where water, sun, and resort sophistication are the inspiration for JBI’s coastal-themed hospitality design,” said Jeffrey Beers, architect, founder and CEO.
For JBI, however, their post-COVID design style still focuses on the beauty of travel. “If anything, we feel more empowered to be bolder, more artistic, and more striking in our hospitality design choices. The look and feel of Pier 66 perfectly exemplifies that creative urge,” he said. The hotel is expected to open in 2024.
